Tom Kinsman

Tom Kinsman is the founder and president of Take Action in Management, a professional management consulting and training organization, specialising in the areas of Performance Management, Leadership, Coaching, Hiring, and Organisational Development.

Prior to forming his company in 1993, Tom was with Xerox Corporation for nineteen years, handling key sales, management, and executive positions. His accomplishments include:

> Earning Xerox’s top performance recognition award, President’s Club, in eighteen of the nineteen years he was eligible, a record unmatched in Xerox.
> Recognised twice as the number one District Manager and also once as the number one Sales Manager in the United States.
> From 1982 until he left Xerox, Tom’s Performance Management Module was recognised at Xerox as a key tool to driving high-performance in the corporation.

Tom has been called on by many organisations to serve as a keynote speaker at sales, kickoff, and training meetings. Tom is someone who knows how to enable sales organisations to over-achieve their business plan. His modules are focused and unique to the business he is representing. Executives, Sales Managers and Field Reps appreciate Tom’s processes because their results improve. Tom received his BA in Marketing and Mathematics from the University of Arizona in 1970. He is also a past Board Member of The Greater Area Seattle Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement. His interests include collecting and racing vintage automobiles, snow skiing, tennis, golf, fly fishing and art collecting.

Tom and his wife, Jihl, have two children and live on Camano Island in Washington State.
